Wow! What an exciting week in second grade. We read Slithery Slimy a book about reptiles and amphibians, visited with Theo the rabbit ,learned more about communities with Miss Creason our Junior Achievement helper and went on a field trip to the Zoo. Our Zoo trip was wonderful! We learned more about animal classification and even got to pet a snake, chinchilla, and screech owl!!!

I'll bet the zoo was so much fun on such a beautiful day. Did the animals seem to enjoy the weather. I bet they are still talking about the day 'St. John's Second Grade Class' visited them at the zoo.
