Haiti Mission Project

Second, third and fourth grade classes at St. John Lutheran School are raising money to buy wood to help build tables and chairs for the children at For His Glory Orphanage in Haiti. They will use the tables and chairs for their school. Our class made contracts with their parents to help raise money. Look below to see what everyone is doing to help raise money. Our goal was $500.00 which we will meet if all the children fulfill their contracts. We would love to send more money to help HIS children at the orphanage. If you would like to donate money to help us please send your donation to:

Kids, I think what you have laid out is wonderful. Not only have you learned the lesson of how to put together an actionable plan (which is important throughout your life), but you did so in a selfless way. You are helping feed the gospel to God’s family, which is what His will is for all of us. Great job!

I love how hard you all will work to make a difference for others. It's good to realize a lot of people doing little things adds up to BIG things!! And I loved the video.
