Hi this is Tim and Nicholas from Mrs. Dubberke's class. We are learning about the Arctic habitat. The definition of the Arctic is a very cold place with snow on the ground most of the year. We are learning about the Pilgrims. Did you know that the Pilgrims started off with two ships,the Speedwell and the Mayflower? The Speedwell soon started to leak and both boats had to turn back. There was one happy thing that happened on the ship. A baby was born to the Hopkin's family. He was named Oceanus. We are also raising money for an orphanage in Haiti by selling cookies for half a dozen and a dozen. We have been learning about geography and maps (land and water forms).We took a test on Friday about geography and maps. We also took a math test on Friday and went to the ACR store.

Wow -- nice job on your blog. I can't believe I've forgotten to check your class blog weekly. I love getting all the updates. It sounds like you all have been very busy -- learning a lot and doing some really fun things. I did not know about the Speedwell boat or about the baby born.
