Hi! This is Caleb and Connor from Mrs.Dubberke's class. We are learning about animal groups. Do you know about animal groups? We are learning about the 6 types of animal groups. The 6 types are fish, reptiles, insects, mammals, amphibians and birds. We read about extreme animals. One of the pages said that a blue whale can grow to the size of a football field! In science class we are going to measure our aloe plant in October to see how much it has grown. Did you like 2nd grade? We love it so much! We also learned that in math when you see a nine your brain automatically writes a one and then puts one less than the number you are adding to 9 (9 + 7 =16).Did you know we have a huge hermit crab ? Wow!! I cannot believe how much you are learning in 2nd grade and it is really nice to hear your enthusiasm for learning. I did not know you had a hermit crab in the classroom. Can you post a picture of him? What's his name? Keep up the great work :-)
